Hello!  I am a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and I have been treating patients for about 15 years now.  Throughout my career I have treated all sorts of cases and I love to treat every type of person and situation.  

My relationship with Oriental Medicine began in 2003 when my dad passed away from prostate cancer.  At the time I was working as a software developer and program manager for NASA and other big accounts but I dropped it all when my dad passed away.  As I was grieving a friend gave me a book she had just read which was all about acupuncture and healing with energy.  In the book there was one line in particular that made me change the whole course of my life at that moment, it said, “Acupuncture is 9000 times more effective than morphine in controlling pain.” So after watching my dad live the last few weeks of his life on huge doses of morphine and the awful side effects it had on him, I would have given anything to have changed that for him and when I read that I was completely ready to bring that type of healing to everyone I could.  I moved to Florida and started acupuncture school that next year.  After three and a half years of study I received my graduate degree in Oriental Medicine in 2007.  My certifications include Clean Needle Technique and Point Injection therapies and many adjunctive therapies such as moxibustion, tui na, gua sha, cupping, auriculotherapy, electrical stimulation, homeopathy and dietary and lifestyle health.

In 2008 I gave birth to my daughter.  Then I proceeded to become nationally certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM in 2010 and a licensed Acupuncturist in Florida and Colorado.  I practiced in Florida in a busy Chinese acupuncture clinic and then I opened my own business.  I renovated a 36ft RV into a mobile acupuncture clinic and brought Chinese medicine to festivals and dragon boat festivals all over Florida.  A few years ago my little family and I had a wonderful opportunity to move to the high Rockies so we did!  We now live in Dillon Colorado and I bring acupuncture to people all over the high Rockies.
